elderflower foraging in Thanet

Post: # 278336Post Aleks »

Hi Everyone,

this is my first spring in Thanet and I am trying to find the best spot for elderflower foraging. I moved from west Kent few months ago and am missing the plentiful supply I had there...

Any tip-offs welcomme!

Aleks

Hi there. We live very close to you but as I am currently abroad cannot think where to suggest except alongside the railway line footpath which runs from Minnis bay to Reculver, I am sure I have seen some along there. Did not want you to have no answers....I will speak to OH in next week or so cos he is better at remembering places. Plum Pudding lane used to be good ( near St Nicholas) but not sure now. Good hunting!
The cockerel makes the noise, the hen produces the goods!! anon
