This is a really useful book .Its written by a mother of 6 Bernadine Lawrence.
I changed the way I did our shopping and cooking because of this book.
She gives shopping lists and an example weekly menu and it is possible to keep within the budget despite the book being about 15 years old.

She covers home made Bread,soups,breakfasts ,lunches and main meals.
Each recipe has a guide price .Instructions are very easy to follow and it isn't assumed you have any fancy gadgets to prepare them with.

I remember when that book came out ... made the six O'clock News as I recall.
Another budget cookbook is Cas Clarke's Grub On a Grant. :book:
