Selfsufficientish bible with discount from an eco indie shop

Post: # 93329Post Andy Hamilton »

Right then Eco-logic are now selling itand I have organised a deal with them for all website forum members to get 25% off the cover price and me and Dave will nip down there to sign a few copies next week at some point. So please state if you want a signed copy in your notes too. Obviously if 1000's of people start coming through this link then we will be in trouble or at least our arms will fall off, but I am sure we will be ok for now :)

So when you make an order you will be able to get the discount if you mention the word - ish - in the notes bit. It will still look like you have been charged full price as peter the owner of the site says himself "my site is not that high tech".

We are also going to donate some money to this charity so if you want your 25% discount (£7.50) to go to solar cookers international then let us know on the notes too. In fact I have so far got John Humphries and Dan Cruickshank to sign a copy and will be collecting signatures over the next couple of months in order to auction off the book and give all that cash to Solar cookers international.

right will post this else where too to ensure that everyone that wants gets a copy.

Hmmph!

I ordered mine, & they have run out!
We saw it at a home & garden exhibition in Castlebar - I showed hubby as I had ordered it the day before - and now I don't know how long it's going to be before we get a copy!

I am off to have a good long sulk....

Julie - dreaming of making the chicken house - but what will it look like if I don't have the book! haha!

Actually I am glad you flagged that up, sorry about that Julie there have been some problems with regards to supply that we hope to get sorted very soon. There are plenty of other online stockistsand I found this page to be one that at least shows you a load of different prices. If I could otherwise get you a copy believe me I would.

Andy, Thank you, but today I am a happy bunny!

I was let out by myself to find some goldfish medicine while hubby mowed the grass & fed next door's cows....

As per usual, I veered off my expected route & just 'popped' into Galway... just for a few moments, you understand...

Anyhow, Hughes & Hughes in Galway are having a 25% off sale on all books - and I found the last copy of the Bible - woohoo!
So when I got back to hubby, I proudly told him of my 'bargain'... 25 euros! (I didn't tell him about the 40 euros I spent on nail varnish, a new whisk & the new dog toy though!)

So now I can plan the chicken house...... and the new veggie beds he... I mean WE can create..... and I'm checking out the goats & pigs section later on too!

My daughter bought it for me for my birthday on Saturday.
It an excellent read!
I really like the graphics too,in the style of the website.
Its going on my self sufficient books shelf along with John Seymour.
Another book to pour over on winter evenings.

Yep - you have been a bit elusive the last months - or is it years? Good to see you are still around.

Having no money *sob*, I would have loved to have won one for winning the first ish photo competition *sniffle*. But all I got was to choose the next subject *double sob, lots of tissues, much depression at not being able to afford the book etc etc etc ad nauseum*...

Doesn't your library at least have one? If you were a bit nearer to us, you could borrow it from our NEEPS library... Or you could even borrow my copy. But Aberdeen is a bit out of the way for you Southeners...

I'd lend you mine CT but I don't think I could part with it... you can come over and look at it through the protective glass case if you like :geek: I'll even put on my white cotton gloves to turn the pages for you
