You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Glut of plums

Post: # 241371Post zaxdog »

Hi all,

I have a glut of plums, small ones that I think might be Victoria. And good recipes for plum jams, jellies and chutneys?

Thanks in advance :grouphug:

If I say so myself, my "it's better than Branston" chutney is pretty damn good http://contadina.wordpress.com/2011/08/06/468/

made some of mine into . Fruit Leather .

also plum and ginger jam - by adding some chopped crystalized ginger

I missed doing it this year but drunken plums in a rumtopf are good too, plums sugar rum (and repeat)
