Hungry Gap Mash

This year being what is is, we're still in the Hungry Gap though the spinach is coming on. We haven't even got enough radish greens to make my famous radish green mash! And I refuse to buy veg.
So I let my husband eat our tiny spring cabbages, while making myself some lovely Hungry Gap Mash as follows:
250g (old!) potatoes, 20-25g reasonably appetizing nettles, sour cream, fresh mint, garlic, grated cheese.
Cook potatoes in salted water. About 5 mins before they're done, add the finely chopped nettles, mint and squashed garlic, cook till everything is done. Pour off any water, add some dollops of sour cream, season if necessary, mash, let warm through. With plenty of grated cheese.
Wasn't bad!
