You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

A simple and quick way to make a Pizza. Cut a bit of french bread or baggette in half down the middle then cut it length ways as if you were making a sandwich.
Chop up some tomatoes in a bowl add a bit of olive oil, some fresh basil and black pepper and a couple of drops of balsamic vinegar.
Coat the french bread with the tomato mix and place either sliced mozzarela or grated cheese over the top.
Then if you wish add a few toppings of your own - olives, sweetcorn, ham etc.
Then place it under the grill and cook as you would cheese on toast. mmm

As well as making French Bread Pizza you can use large flat middle eastern breads that are sold in many ethnic shops. Pitta bread pizzas go down well with children. The larger round breads are even better.
