101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

... Other than the ground. My only free soil is earmarked for peas and beans. And I'm tempted by a free kilo of seed potatoes offer....

1) barrel
2) old compost bag
They're not weeds - that's a habitat for wildlife, don't you know?

20) Pile some old bricks up in a circle
21) One of those metre cube bags that building materials come in.
22) An old trailer
23) A waste paper basket
24) A laundry basket
25) A large lampshade upturned and lined with old carrier bags
