it's another "make" of forum - I've used it on several sites, it's bombproof, and really simple to do things like this - it's the one I recommend Andy migrates this one onto, come upgrade time! (there are programmes available that can do the "translation" between the two!)

It will have to be kids of members that have asked to join through their parents.

Can there be kids joining with other members? - i'm thinking particularly about my friend's son. my friend isn't a member, but his son would love to show off his sunflowers and tomatoes when he grows them, so could he join via me? I'd moderate his posting and stuff - as in, i would make sure he posted when i was about so i could check what he was writing.

I think friends could join but they will have to be recomended by an adult.

*raises hand* I offer any services you want/need! I know I am a newbie on here but I have experience in phpbb, vbulletin and smf forums as well as invision boards. And I'm a mum if that counts too
