Want to be involved in how new housing is delivered in Bristol?
Are you priced out of the housing market?
If you are interested in getting involved in the early stages of an
'Umbrella Community Land Trust organisation for Bristol'
(and possibly the wider area),
then please come to the event on 3rd
February 2011 at Hamilton House, Stokes Croft, Bristol.
Two short sessions, one at 3pm and one at 6pm with presentations by a
range of speakers on Community Land Trusts.
We will look at a couple of sites in particular,
also with a focus on the prospects of a wider delivery across the
whole of Bristol.
Community Land Trusts aren't only about housing, we can
include green space, community buildings, public houses, etc
If you want to know more about community land trusts visit: http://www.communitylandtrusts.org.uk
This is your chance to demonstrate that you want more say over how
housing is delivered in Bristol, whether it is developer built,
self built/self finish, housing co-op's and or co-housing,
re-using existing buildings, etc.Low impact homes are
on the cards.
So if you are inspired by earth ships,
roundhouses and other forms of innovative housing
let us know and then we can work together to make it happen.
It is important that if this is important to you,
that you attend this first event, as the numbers will
indicate whether the idea should be developed in Bristol
