No apostrophes!

Help!
Suddenly my computer has decided that whenever i put an apostrophe in, its going to open up a little search box at the bottom...
Im running firefox.
Anyone know how to fix this irritating problem?

I used to get that alot, I just found closing and re-opening Firefox fixed the problem.
Have you got the latest version of Firefox? I don't seem to have had that problem for a while and maybe it was something they fixed in a later version?

Try hitting F3 - should get rid of it.

It's amazing how you can't think of a sentence involving apostrophes when you need one...

Other folk's aren't so fussy - they just spread apostrophe's around indiscriminately...

What? Three times as many as there should be? You'll wear it out.
I've definitely had this odd behaviour with apostrophes (I
think that's right!) but not in recent times and I can't remember how I got rid of it. Maybe I'm using a more recent version of Firefox (or Ubuntu) now.
