Fridge freezer

Tomorrow's World was a show on BBC TV about innovations and tech stuff and I thought a good name for our computing and tech section.

Fridge freezer

Post: # 288451Post fruitfly »

My Bush fridge freezer is a couple of years old and there is ice build up on the ceiling of the freezer. What is the best way to remove it. It turns out that it isn't a brand anymore, just a name that gets stuck on by Argos onto a cheaply produced item. the model number is bsff50144w if that's of any use. Thanks.

Empty it, switch it off and put a baking tray half filled with hot water on the shelf.
Then wait for an hour or two for the ice to melt (replacing the hot water now and again)
All good fun

Keep it reasonably full (not packed) and make sure it's properly shut each time you open it. It's freezing moisture in the air.
