don't forget courgette flowers - very nice in a light beer batter and fried.
and also, when broccoli and cauli bolt the flower heads are still edible.

I know you can eat Hawthorn buds and as i have done i can tell you they are ok. The leaves too taste ok.
Its Good to be green but even better to be self sufficient.
