what a colourful rose!

These are rose seeds being sold on e-bay and are " rainbow "roses. The seller says they are in Grimsby but looking at the text it looks like the sort of badly translated script that originates from China.
for example: "All plants need sunshine, sunshine is like a rose" and " Rose is drought tolerant plants, but the fear of floods"
However , lousy description aside the picture and some of the text indicates a remarkable multi coloured flower but right at the end it says the flower petals are white and need to be injected with food colouring. So basically simple white roses that need mucking about with to be anything remotely like a rainbow. I'm not a big fan of roses but seem to recall they are hard to grow from seed in the first place but evidently 500 or so people have decided the seeds are worth a go.

Oh dear- I bought some of these last year- I've still got the seeds and I was going to have a go at them this year. Colour me gullible. Yes- but what if they DO work? I want them to, I love gaudy and tasteless :flower:

Here's hoping we're all wrong lettice . If you have the seeds then do please plant them and let us know what the results are.
