I've bought some navy velour to make two large santa sacks for Josh - anyone know how I could decorate them to make them christmasssy?

Thanks :cat:

Stick some cotton wool around the top to look like snow.

Make some small pom poms out of old wool or string.

Get some silver thread and embroider starry snowflakes on to it - try a simple design like an over sized astrisk, make some arms longer than others - I hope I make myself clear, I am having communication problems at the moment, must go to bed...

Cut out some shapes from felt pieces (sold in bundles in stores) and stick or stich them on. Its less work than embroidery. You could do snowmen, trees, angels, oe even the childs name and stick the letters on.
