Has the ISH site gone weird on your PC?

Post: # 178587Post MuddyWitch »

I ask because the page has gone very strange on both my pc & my laptop.

It seems to have decided I need large print, on a tiny space! It looks not unlike a WAG very skinny!!!

Yes, mine is AWFUL! Teeny tiny font and having to scroll right all the time to read people's posts :( If the crying smilie was still there I would use that! See my post 'active posts missing', everyone seems to be having problems!

This morning it was large print (which was difficult to read cos it sprawled out to the right and I had to scroll a lot), however, this afternoon it's changed again and I really like it. The font is just the right size now.

Not for me Contadino, I can't read it now it's so tiny. But at least the page fits. I'm going to have to go else-where 'till it's mended, cos it's giving me eyestrain trying to read it! *crying smiley*

I believe John is working on the site at the moment, so I am assuming there might be some changes / alterations going on as we type!

It is still the same for me - tiny writing, page goes way too far to the right.

Me too - large print. I thought I'd pressed the wrong button as usual when something weird happens.

Fingers crossed! If it helps, I think mine would fit ok if the ads weren't down the left hand side.

I've just remembered something to help temporarily whilst the text is so tiny, press Control plus + and the text becomes larger.

I've re-activated all the view active topics so hopefully that will work OK now. It looks like it's the right resolution etc now so it looks like John's been busy. Fingers crossed we're back on track now

No - but old stick in the mud me does NOT like it. It's better than it was (this morning, the advert column was on the left side - a horrible error). Now it's on the right side (also the correct side) which makes for easier reading. However, only a handful of posts and the subsequent scrolling down means that there's nothing on the right except a blank column, wasting my wonderful wide-screen setup.

AND ... the page header is washed out and bitty and visually confused - definitely an identity-less creation and NOT a come-on for potential advertisers.

John, you're a wonderful site mechanic, but this is a mistake.
