This band is quite old now but they all died of heroin/aids so they weren't able to make new music. But they are good, my husband go me into them. 'EKV', they're a Serbian band. There aren't really any good Macedonia bands, just all that horrible turbofolk stuff [shudders]

Anyhoo, here they are:

Ekatarina Velika

And another Serbian group 'Kandakodzainebojasa' the song is called 'Stastopojo' which means 'what did you eat?' and the one English line in the song is 'LSD is good oh'

Here is some proper Macedonian ethnic music with old weird instruments iv never seen before. I like them

Synthesis- Pomnish Li

It reminds me of riverdance

In this one he's got a kind of bagpipe:

Musically, the most exciting thing that happened in the dire 1970's was the short lived punk music, we lived in black and white in those days and the only shampoo that was exotic was one with an apple scent otherwise it was vosene or lifebouy, not that we did that much washing, just a weekly bath. Anyway, I love any kind of punky music and Gogol Bordello is one group I like with their catchy Gypsy punk groove,

I feel like I should ask permission before I post most of the stuff I like on here. Tends to be very "niche" heavy metal and it might frighten any cats/kids/parents who're near the computer.

That's fair warning, should I proceed?
