a bag of wooden train set bits/pieces of track £2.50
a plusplus toy (building kit like lego but all the pieces are the same size/shape) that was £2

I've bought loads of fruit trees this winter for the new garden, but although I've looked everywhere for a couple of peaches, everyone I've come across has been worked on,and while some were really nice,I'd rather have a whip and make it how I want it ( potted and espaliered).I figured I'd wait till the next back end....

Yesterday, out of the blue. I found 2 really nice healthy Whips, well grafted on dwarfing stock, they cost £3.99 each!!............

Tiles for kitchen floor.
In a regular tile shop £97.50 per sq meter. I must have looked gobsmacked when the assistant said how much. Nipped round the corner to a place that was closing down .( craft club useful gossip)
Spent £120 for 4 sq metres of the same tiles as above, for a small kitchen floor, including
5 larger tiles of the same pattern he threw in. 2 meters sq red tiles for wall and 4 rolls of vymura quality wall paper for bed room. Incredible. All for my daughters new house. My OH is sending me back tomorrow to look gormless again to try and get some black floor tiles and some wall tiles for our kitchen that so desperately needs renovating. Gossip from people u know can save u lots of dosh.

If anyone is interested, some £lands still have seed potatoes - I saw Charlottes and Red Duke of Yorks today and Red Baron onion sets.

Half a metre of felt for handicrafts for £1.20. ( approx 1.2 metres wide).
A bargain considering the cost of 12 and 15 inch squares.
It's worth visiting markets u never know what u might find.
