Seconded - I follow your blog and hope you might start posting here again. I may not always agree with what you have to say, but I enjoy reading it anyway.

That's a nice thing to say,

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

I miss him too. I liked all his galleries (a lot of work went in to those), and his wee dog! And, after a disastrous year for carrots, i'd even made a note in my gardening book to "use Durgan method next year"! Come back Durgan!

yes his dog is cute, yorkshire terrier isn't it? then he has some ways with his garden i don't get, broadcasting carrot seed and drinking parsley juice. what was all that about? nice clear pictures, not at all fuzzy and usually with a few red plastic coffee cups. had to be red. and what was with the holes ? i don't have a soldering iron so i can't do those.
of course we could go to his site, that's still live, (durgan.org) but the point of a forum is its like up the pub and not round anyone's house.

Well he's still in the pub, he's just not talking to anyone any more. If you look up his profile (not that I'm a stalker or anything  ) you can see when he last logged on.

Hi Durgan

I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.

Unhappily, yes. Durgan had a, well, slight reaction to a comment made on a thread he started. To be fair, it really didn't have a lot do with -ish. I would very much like him to start posting again. (Hint).
