Ah yes - I come across quite a few of those who think that "common" people, i.e. those who use not only brains but also muscle to earn their living don't deserve anything new... :( It's always the rich who try to haggle in the shop.

Hi Skippy,
It's always useful to know a good handyman for future reference
Especially with your credentials.
I am in Burton on Trent .
Are u based any where near by as I see u are from South Staffordshire.
I don't care how people look as long as they do a good job.

I do like my trades to look as if they have washed in the morning and made some attempt to clean their work attire. Mended is one thing, unclean is unacceptable.

Hello Pumpkinpie , I'm in Chasetown so the other side of Lichfield to you. If I recall it's about 16 miles to the hospital from me to give you an idea how far I am away. It's funny really but when I was working for a now defunct firm from Lichfield I would travel all over the country but these last couple of years since being self employed the farthest I've found myself travelling to on a regular basis is Fradley and occasionally Kings Bromley . That's not to say I wouldn't come to Burton so if you want my details I'll PM you a link .
