Biscuit barrels

Post: # 283318Post sda »

I'm looking for a sturdy, not thin metal, biscuit barrel, preferably with a dehumidifier in the lid. So far, I've only come across the Brabantia one. Is it any good or do any of you know of another brand that sells something durable and effective?

My first port of call when I am looking for anything is Amazon, I may not buy it there, but they have very useful customer reviews on products.

You can make your own dehumidifier by making a little cloth bag of rice. Every now and then it can be dried out in a low oven.

It should make your search for a biscuit barrel easier.

That would be my solution too.\they work well.

Then hot foot to the nearest car boot sale/pre loved/junk shop/weird old Auntie, and find something that looks really nice(and not like it was designed in Sweden(and made in Cambodia).

I have to admit to being slightly confused by all this, why do you need to have de-humidifiers in your biscuits? ............. oh maybe we just scoff our biscuits so quickly they don't have a chance to get soft
