A bit of pruning

Post: # 291856Post KathyLauren »

There was a large, gnarly, ugly juniper shrub that had to go. I had already cut off most of the branches with a small electric chainsaw. But, when it came time to take out the remaining big branches and the trunk, the job needed the big Husky. I swear it has put on 20 lbs in the last couple of years. But the juniper is history.

Why was it there in the first place? Just to allow you to play with a chainsaw?

Apparently, the previous owners liked junipers. We have taken out lots of them. They spread everywhere, and look really ugly. There are still quite a few to go!

It's a darned fine saw. It is a pain to start when it is cold, but it starts fine when it is warmed up, and it has enough power for the job.
