If next year is anything like this - bring a full set of water proofs, waders and all. Or better still, a diving suit. :(

Hey Nev,

When you going to make it to Canada?

Our $ is closer to yours for the value and theres so much to see here too.

Hope you and Mrs. Wombat can hop over someday.

As I said, come up here and bring your surfboard - we're above the 200m contour so we'll have a beachfront property by then!!!

I hope it dries out for everyone over there, some of the footage coming out of the UK is pretty scary at the moment!

G'day mates! (and other nasal Aussie greetings!)

Next year I am going back to school to finish my masters degree so to fit that in we will be over for the last two weeks of April and the first two weeks of May.

The flights are more or less sort of booked. So all of those who foolishly said that they could put up with us for a day or two, now is the time to put your money where your mouth is.

If you could let me know when would be suitable or unsuitable during that time (if you know and on the understanding that your cicrcumstances may change) we can start to skectch out a bit of a plan.

Thanks all!

And should the weather in Blighty prove too inclement for your antipodean bones Nev, you are more than welcome to come and stay (and dry out) with us here in southern Italy. :cooldude:

I somehow missed this thread earlier! I only have a floor to offer (none of those fancy bed things - we just use a futon mattress - so I can't even offer to give up my own bed) but I have quite a few contacts in this bit of Lewisham, SE London, so might be able to rustle up something more elevated if you want to pass by this bit of the world and don't get any better offers.

We haven't made plans that far ahead so if you're up in Aberdeenshire we will certainly have spare beds for you.
