Aaaaaaaargh! Didn't they try this to start with? And they had chickens too for fresh eggs? Not sure what happened, not entirely bothered, unless of course the chickens suffered which is wrong.

My mum told me yesterday that she was looking forward to the start of the next BB  Mind you, she also complained there was nothing on the TV since Britain's Got Talent & I'd Do Anything finished at the weekend. I firmly believe we don't share the same gene pool

Can you grow Pot Noodles, then?
I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.

So they'll be going hungry for the first 10 weeks or so then? Maybe they'll be living on cress and bean sprouts? Maybe that's the entertainment this time - after all watching beans sprout will be infinately more amusing than watching the contestants sleep, swear and fart!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Yey to that, 15 years ago or more I had a roof garden in London with Toms, Maize, and a heap of other things! In the late 70's I was selfsufficient in Herbs, shrooms, baked my own bread and fermented my own wine (all required an old skool airing cupboard, don't see many about these days). No space to grow much else, although I can claim to be a pioneer of grolux lighting systems LoL.

haha!!! I love Big Brother for purely sadistic reasons...laughing at the weirdos!!

The phrase "This year's "green" Big Brother house will also feature a large recycling bin in the kitchen." in the article amused me... like BB is sooooo green because it has a "large" recycling bin... wow... oh my goodness... we should all be taking tips form BB... oh wait... I have SIX recycling bins... I win!

Seriously though... it is funny... the huge number of complete odd balls they have in there!!

I don't recall them ever having a 100% eco-warrior in the house, anyone else? Would be amusing...

I'd planned to make some off-the-cuff sardonic remark about Big Brother, but Super.Niki, your avatar thing threw me! Very good, most amusing!

Thank you! I love it!!I can't remember where I found it (probably msndollies or something similar...) but there's lots of variations of you look ong Google Images or something... I just liked the fact that it's obviously a homeless bloke with that on his board, no matter how staged that's pretty cool! :)

so long as it's a "normal" eco-warrior, not some stinky bloke in a hairshirt who normally lives in a tree by heathrow; 'cos that'd just keep purveying the stereotype and we don't want that.
I think we can stretch to some dreads...I like dreads.
