Norovirus anyone?

Post: # 211430Post growingthings »

We're struck down again. Eldest has brought it home from school, hubby and I are currently down with what I hope is a mild bout and we're waiting for the littlest one to wake up and start puking sometime tonight!

Any hard and fast survival tips? Apart from giving up work and homeschooling the girls so that I don't have to go through this twice every year. :pukeright: :pukeright:

Many thanks from my gurgling pit in the corner :pale:

Mix 1 part clear pop, like 7up, with 1 part water, sip slowly between bouts. It'll help keep you hydrated and prevent dry heaves.

(I'm told lemonade works well instead of pop, but when I'm puking my throat gets so raw the lemonade hurts too much. Maybe water with a spoonful of honey if you want to avoid pop?)
