Liver Biopsy.

Have any of you women ishers ever had a liver biopsy? I'm due to go for one tomorrow and wondered if you could tell me anything useful. Many thanks.

I haven't, I'm afraid. I just wanted to wish you all the very best of luck for tomorrow. I'm just waiting on a letter through for a bone marrow biopsy, which I'm dreading. But these things are necessary, I guess.

I've not been on here for a very long time - depression's been bad and lots of medical problems with liver problems being the next thing . Getting this done and over with will be good but waiting for 2 - 3 weeks for the results will be a nightmare. I'm in Orkney and have to fly down to Aberdeen to have it done but at least when I get the results hubby will be with me then. Cheers, Claire.

Biopsy over with and back home, sooo glad. Thanks for the good wishes folks and Citizentwiglet, good luck with the biopsy. Sometimes the thinking about it is worse than the actual event, building it up in your head 'cos of the fear. I hope everything turns out brilliantly for you, sending you my love, Claire.

Hi Spider8/Claire. Sorry to hear you are having health problems and fingers crossed for the results. I hadn't realised you hadn't been on Ish for a while because I haven't been here very regularly myself of late. Good to see you again and good luck with the house hunting.
