The map of ishness

Post: # 139623Post mamos »

Hi

I have seen maps oof where members are on many forum and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to set one up.

I would be good to see who is where so we can arrange local meet ups

Or regional sections in the forum

I'd like that - it'd be good to see where we all are. The only problem is it would have to be a world map so would be very small. What about a full screen one on the main site - viewers there might be tempted in - more members, more dots on the map!

No, John is looking into doing something a bit different from the last time but he is mega busy at the moment (there's a lot he has to do behind the scenes) so he will hopefully get to it all in good time! Be patient!

Exactly, Maggie!!

Yep, I WAS that kid... and I'm not a lot different now

I wonder if hubby has finished my garden yet.... he's only been out there since 10 this morning.... bless him! I go out there & he's digging out the grass to a depth of about 3ft.... a track for the tractor... so about 12 foot wide & 30 foot long.... PLUS... the top 2 foot or so is really sucky mud.... this is his 3rd digging day & I said 'is that all you've done'?
Went down like a lead balloon, I can tell you - I'm not sure he's talking to me yet....

I just love seeing things visually.

Hubby and I have bought a giant map of the world and three boxes of different coloured pins. One colour for Hubby, one for me and one for both of us. The intention is to plot where we have been in the world...... We found that the cottage was just to small for the size poster we bought. We will soon be in the next (bigger) house and then we can put it up.

After

Fencing the paddock, starting the veggie garden, putting in the best heating system, decorating all the rooms, putting in a new kitchen, oh and bathroom, building a new garage with second floor as my potting shed.........

I guess it will be a few years down the line!!!
