Just a suggestion...

I love reading all the articles about all the herbs and vegetables. And yet I think it is lacking on essential ingredient...

Photos!

Surely if you grow all these plants you could take photos so people could see what they look like?

It would certainly put a smile on my face  .
Weeds make me mad.

I know, basically my digiatal camera is broken and Dave does not have one. I shall put some pics up soon when we buy a camera with the cash from the google ads.

'Phoots' are always good. A picture tells a thousand words and all that jazz.

I want to know how to get a photo in my replies, without having a link. How do you do that Andy?

I want to show how my upside down tomatoes are coming along!

I could be wrong Shiney but I think you need to host the pic on another website... eg www.photobucket.com or similar (pretty sure that there are some much better than photobucket but that's what I use at the moment) ... then post the link to that picture into your message.

Shirlz is right - put your photo into your Documents?pictures, or wherever you keep them; upload them to a hosting site on the web, eg Photobucket; when it's uploaded there, copy the URL, then come back here, start your post, and when you're ready to put the picture up within that post, type the following:

And it should appear. Make sure you use square brackets.
Hope this helps.

if you're wondering why there isn't an easier way - forums are often targetted by spammers and hackers, to allow unrestricted uploading of photos will a)rapidly take up all the storage space on the server, and b) open the site up to possible ingress by "the baddies"
-so a bit of inconvenience is worth it!
