101 non-swear words

101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

101 non-swear words

Post: # 105717Post Brij »

I've noticed a couple of brilliant non-swear words on the forum today, has anyone got any others?

The ones I saw were:

1. Bandstands
2. Barstewards

And my flatmate and I have taken to saying this one recently after seeing yesterday's news:

3. Farc (as in, Farc, the leader died!)

I was also brought up to say this one instead of the normal, four letter word for... passing wind (also an f-word), which I was taught was a swear word

4. Poof-off (the "poof" is pronounced to rhyme with "hoof")

Anyone got any others? They really make me chuckle when I read the forum!

Only after the last fish has been caught,

My Mum, who never swore, was once heard to say 'buggasodswine' so it's remained in use as a single word

12 Functions - said loud enough and with enough gusto sounds very dodgy!
13 Buggle it
14 Sugar honey iced tea (inital letters  That one came from my kids!)

And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free

It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
