festivals this year

Do you know about an event that you want to talk about? Is there a campaign you have started, are involved in or want to start? Inspired by Marvin Gaye this is your place to tell the world what's going on.

we can only make one this year, and will probably go to Partyneuf as that at long last is where the BGG shareholders are now being directed...........

Can't do Partyneuf at all. Not a hope of getting the time off...

So far i'm doing:

The Big Sessions
Spratton
Sunrise
and possibly Earthwise.

I'll be at The Big Session too.

My favourite festival - I can walk to it & walk home again for a comfy bed & decent shower. After the mud last year a decent shower was very important.

Damn, I'm getting old.

I should be at http://www.shambalafestival.org/ again this year. Last year was stunning. And thanks to a post read on here I'm seriously thinking about volunteering at the Northern Green Gathering too.

I love meeting new people and will be taking my 13 month old son along so always welcome meeting up with families :flower:

what a shame sunrise had to be cancelled this year

hope we aren't going to have a summer like last year, it'd be nice to attend some outdoor events without having to wade through mud...

The shambolic mess they try to call a festival?
Maybe it wasn't such a shame after all, judging by the treatment of the patrons...

yes, we were going to go to Earthwise and it has been cancelled waaahhh!!!. We are debating what to do with ourselves at the start of August, and we are STILL intending to go to Party Neuf (so fingers crossed that doesn;t get cancelled either). Maybe 2008 is the year of the jinx?
