101 non-swear words

101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

Tarnation.

Drats.

Ghastly.

Horrors.

Goodness, gracious.

And one of my favorites from an elderly friend who recently passed on: Golly Moses!

Our 12-year-old has started using "Cake!" as an expletive...

This is uncannily close to a trend among some friends many many years ago of stringing together any combination of the words "fruit", "cake", "bum" and "bowl" as an expression of joy, disgust, exasperation or otherwise.

As in "Awww...fruity bum bowl!"

Ah yes the great lyrics from Rambling Sid Cordwranlger singer extraordinaire, and if I remember
correctly "Gruntfuttock Fair" a rollicking good Morris Dance tune. :bootyshake: :bootyshake:
I can't do great things, so I do little things with love.
