Chat Room Times

Hi Guys

We want to try and work out the best times to open the chat room, so that most people can join in.

At the moment, the times suggested are:

12-3 AM and 12-3 PM These times appear to work fairly well for the rest of the globe too.

If anyone has any thoughts, please let us know!

I'm not really interested in it anyway - but those times certainly wouldn't work for me: 12-3am I'm usually asleep, and 12-3pm I usually work.

I'd struggle with those times too - generally busy throughout the daytime other than popping on occasionally if I'm out... and 12-3am I'll be asleep.

Perhaps if we work out who would be most interested in the chatroom then we can arrange times that are suitable for the majority.

I'm more of a late evening chat sort of person... 9-10pm ish...

Same here. I'm usually in bed by 12am, and 12-3pm I'm busy with daytime stuff. I'm not a big chat-room person, but if I were to try to visit, it would be in an evening, 9-11pm ish.

Evenings, (9-11pm GMT), are my best time too, though I can occassionally make afternoons & I'd love to chat so if we made it a set afternoon I'd do my best to join in.

Maybe an announcement giving the next chat time, then varying the time on a weekly basis to see which was best?

9 while 11 works best for me too, by then the Smallest and Tallest are safely ensconced and most of the evenings jobs have been done.

Evenings are good for me - I started internet life in chat rooms - not been for a good chat in about 6 years!

9-12am sounds good - much later than that, I may be up but not firing on all cylinders! (Some may say that's not just confined to night-time)
