People in Bristol (or nearby) come for coffee

We are travelling down on Tuesday and it will prob take at least 5 hours - so I'm not sure we'd make it by closing time! owever - we will most certainly need a coffee by Wednesday!

I came over to Brisol on the train on Saturday for a tutorial. I had planned to bring the bike so I could cycle over for a cuppa but had a flat so couldn't make it

Will try harder next time.

This sounds interesting - is it very fair from the train station or City College?

I don't have a car (don't want one either ;)) but I do pop into Bristol on the train some saturdays to attend Open University tutorials at the College.... is it somewhere I could walk/get a bus too from there?

It is just a short walk from Lawrence Hill Station

If you put on BBC1 at 12.30 on Sunday you will be able to see the inside as me and Dave did a bit for the Politics show in there (and on my allotment).

Also, and this is slightly off-piste I guess, what do people think about having a local Bristol area self-sufficientish group that meets up to exchange ideas, share skills and knowledge and discuss what has been discussed ? I guess that this is as much down to the approval of Dave and Andy as much as anybody, but what do people think of this in principle ?

Is the shop still there ? There are some pretty faceless flats opposite T**co's now so are you near that ?
