Good Life is back!?!

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

Has anyone else noticed that The Good Life is back on "Dave"?

Or is this old news...?

Sorry...I'm talking utter manure again. It's apparently on UKTV Gold..which isn't a Freeview channel.

That'll teach me to think I can get away with using a snatched glimpse of a TV screen as a citable source!

Please forgive...

It's ok - I thought I saw it too - but then I confuse myself by channel flicking too fast and then turning it off anyway! :?

We've got the box set too ... we love watching it on cold winter evenings, all snuggly and warm - preferably with a large glass of something

Anyone know somewhere I can buy the box set? I tried to buy one series from someone on Amazon - cancelled the order after about 4 months because they couldn't supply it. I couldn't find it anywhere else.

Nev - I loved the ABC shop when I lived in Australia, but I don't think there is a BBC equivalent. Maybe I'll have to buy them gradually on my trips back!

Play.com used to have it for £25.. Or was it £40? Something between those two. £299.99 does seem a tad excessive. I think that Acorn Media bought the rights off the BBC and so it may be out of print/hard to get hold of.

it was on over the weekend again ( the original ) and yep got to agree with your comment about felicity kendal - she still looks damned good even now :thumbright: - after my lovely late wife - definitely my no 2 sexiest woman - you can keep all the so called modern female superstars - she sure had that " something " think it was those eyes - you could drown in eyes like those :drunken:
