admin question - post deleted
Last night I posted a reply on a thread, and I'm sure that as usual I pressed the submit button, then went and checked the post was there. However, today it's not there any more. Now I don't think my post was offensive in any way, but for some reason it's gone. If it's been deleted by admin, what is the usual procedure? Would the person deleting it normally contact me to let me know why? Or do these things just disappear quietly without explanation? Or is there a bug in the system that wiped my post off? Or did I drink too much wine last night
and imagine the whole thing? It is possible that I made a mistake as my concentration was interupted by a teenage quarrel right outside the bedroom door where LO was asleep.
The thing is, if my post has been deliberately deleted, I would like to know why

Looking into it....but doesn't sound like an admin thing.... we tend not to delete stuff that isn't spam.

Nope, wasn't us.
It has happened to me before, when I thought I had hit send, but didn't. Or maybe the connection dropped for a minute?.... or blame the teenagers, that what they are for anyway
Anyway, I guarantee that it wasn't us

Thanks Annpan.
I'm a bit peeved because if I remember correctly it was a very intelligent reply. Well, it felt like it after my forth glass anyway
It might actually be a good thing that it's gone.

It wasnt me. I usually delete the text and then give a reason in the empty space.

I should of explained.... I checked the moderator log, and it hadn't been deleted by any of us.
But, it rarely happens and we will give explanations.
