Taking it in turns to be on Telly

Post: # 148101Post Andy Hamilton »

Well sort of, should have mentioned early but Dave did Working lunch today he is in the studio, it's about 3/4 the way through I think talking in the studio after the bit about the couple living a self sufficient life.

Yesterday we recorded a piece for the Politics show - just a bit for the local slice of it. It is on BBC1 right after countryfile on this Sunday for those who get southwest BBC tv or it will be on iplayer for a week for everyone else. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007tjjx - you can see it there.

Brill, my hubby always watches countryfile or records it so I'll ask him to record the proggy on afterwards then we can fast forward to your bit. Well done you two, the more media/TV coverage the better!

Make sure he records BBC west country though as we are not on the national bit of the show just the local!

That's what we get Andy - all the local stuff is based around Bristol! That's cos when we subscribed to Sky our 'address' was in Yeovil.

Just watched the Working lunch thing. Do you ever feel like punching the presenters? It might just be me but they always seem to say something really ignorant just because they can't be bothered to try! I'm probably turning into a grumpy old woman, but I find it really annoying that you are putting out a really important and very valuable message that they seem to think is some kind of quirky fun!

It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Yep there is some Hungarian grazing rye growing on the plot and we dug in some good old horse manure, 12 year old stuff bloody amazing like a good wine.

 Those Tv slots were great, hopefully there will be many more to come.

I hope any future ones will be shown on the net though as I'm selling the 2 Tvs I have as I rarely use them.

cheers, always good fun to make. Shame you never get paid though. I guess if I talk about earning less then I should not be too bothered
