I've just had a difficult conversation with J.

It appears that we may be over very soon.
I adore him and i'm not quite sure how to deal with this.

I do like him very much, we've been together since December, and i do think that he is someone i could be with for a very long time. We don't see each other that often because of my dodgy working hours and the distance between us.

I'm pretyt much in shock at the moment.

He slept with his ex. I know that he still has feelings for her but she has none for him.

Why does life have to be so hard sometimes?

Oh Fee, I am sorry. Here's a big hug . Life and relationships are cr*p aren't they. I am in the same position as my J is going through a lot of stress in his life and has decided he doesn't want a relationship at the moment. I'm pretty cut up about it as well.

I don't want to sound harsh but from experience it is much better that you find out now - truly it is. Fee - if he's slept with his x while he was with you do you really want to be with a man who can so easily be unfaithful. Zoe - do you really want a man who isn't able to settle down and share a life with you. It's really hard right now and it hurts like bu**ery (no that doesn't spell buttery!) but we are here to be your shoulders and support. You are both better than this and you deserve partners, who can honestly, faithfully, openly and truly love you and with whom you can stand shoulder to shoulder and face the world. He is out there - honest he is.
