Good morning campers!

We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

Hi all,

just signed up after finding the site though the CAT web site :) i'm currently a student at York uni but I'm moving to Aberystwyth in summer with my OH who is doing an MSc in environment management. We're only living in a small flat but looking to be as environmentally concious, and self sufficient as possible!

Hi Linzibean -

Welcome to the site....

M3 - I imagine she is talking about the centre for alternative technology - a really good place based in Wales... http://www.cat.org.uk/

Ah ha, so they have started to link to us that is good news thanks linzibean.

When myself and Dave started the site I was living in a tiny one bedroomed shoebox, so hopefully you will find some good advice around the site. Welcome to the forum.

Hiya Linzibean, and welcome!
I like your name! I know from experience that it is possible to do an astonishing number of things towards selfsufficiency in a small flat... But maybe you can get an allotment once you are settles in Aberystwyth.

G'DAyLinzibean,

Welcome to the site! Yep there are still lotsthat you can do in a flat. My brother used to live in a flat in Cabramatta and had quite a veggie garden!
