None whatsoever. I think the "alcohol free" beer that you buy (it does contain a little - about 0.5% I believe) has the alcohol removed after the brewing process.

Does it have to be beer? I mean trying to brew without fermentation and have a decent taste wold be near-neigh impossible I should think- if you're after non-alcoholic stuff whynot have a go at some fruit cordials or something...I've still got a bottle of elderberry cordial on the go (you can't buy that in the shops!) and you always have the option of adding vodka if you DO want something alcoholic.
