broccoli, brassica

Post: # 118Post Andy Hamilton »

yep broccoli is from the brassica family. Does not seem that popular though at the moment I am afraid Oscar, but not many votes have been cast so I guess it is anyones race still.

I've gotta write this by the 1st so I think the poll's closed, thanks for all of the votes everyone. I declare Brassicas the Vegetable of Decemeber. It could have been an easy one like leeks or carrots

Broccoli

I like broccoli too, it's just that brassicas are Cabbage, mustard, turnips, swede and broccoli. So I think it will have to be just broccoli otherwise we'll run out of vegetables for veg of the month before long. It means less work for me too.
