That's odd, I will mention it to John as it may be another glitch from the forum update!

I've just tried too, I don't think I did anything wrong setting it up :dontknow:

There were nine entries MMM, but 2 were from spitfire - I only put her in once - I think she may do quite well anyway if the previous posts are any indication!

That's a bit mean because there are some really good entries there and no rubbish ones. :( :( :( But that's your opinion I guess, I have other favourites and I don't know which one to vote for. I think this time I might vote for myself!

MMM - I've just counted them again and can't find other entries. I can't work out where I'm being mean

If you can find anyone I've not included let me know, my intention was not to miss anyone out. If you like I can put spitfire in twice, but I still don't think it will alter anything.

Please advise - it's supposed to be a pleasant event not something to cause anyone grief!

I mean this bit
I think she may do quite well anyway if the previous posts are any indication!

which I took implied that the rest of the entries weren't much good. :(

I didn't mean that you'd missed any out! Just thought that perhaps you should be impartial.

Well my vote has been cast. It's definitely working now, thanks to John :king:

MMM, I thought Green Aura was refering to the positive comments made by other posters after Spitfire's submission, rather than stating an opinion. I think this is one of those "written word" times that we've all experienced, where what is written and how it can be read are different. I once wrote a massive post on a uni forum after one of our year group said she was scared stiff about the dissertation. I spent hours writing what I thought was a positive reply, stating that we've come this far so we obviously have the ability, etc., etc. When I finally thought I had a post that would lift everyone's spirits and confidence I posted it, only to get the reply "Oh well I'll just go and sit in the corner on my own. I guess it's put up or shut up." :? I decided at that point I was never going to go on another forum - ever!

Anyway - fantastic entries all of them. Good luck everyone... now who to give my vote to..... :flower:

I haven't voted yet as I couldn't decide between 3 of them, so I can wait until nearer the closing time and vote for someone to get 3rd place if you like? Or is that wrong? Cos one of them is one of the 3 I like best anyway.

I've put a post on Facebook just to the Ishers to remind them to vote. I'm always surprised at how few people vote on these competitions. :dontknow:

Thanks Rosey, I never thought of that!

And I agree, Gert, we had fantastic entries. I found it really hard to choose too.
