How about doing your shopping online? Most supermarket baskets are savable and you can do it when you have 5 spare minutes at a time maybe?

Sorry Susie Hun xx
Lots of twinges that do not amount to anything. Off to see the consultant in the morning. You will be glad to hear that he will be out one way or another by next Thursday, then you can relax

Are you getting twinges then SFGGod I don't know about you but the strain of waiting for this baby to arrive is killing me. think I'll have a lie down
Would that be the lie down that SFG won't get after Thursday?

How are the twinges? So take it the consultant gave you till thurs before induction or section? I haven't had chance to see your thread? I guess though if you've got till then poor old sunflowerboy is going to be pretty knackered!
I'm off shopping for christmas this weekend, and have even made the space for the tree to go in, although I expect to have filled it with junk by the end of next week

Sarah
Good luck with the shopping this weekend!! I hope you manage to get sorted out, before you get too uncomfortable and big.
(Section booked for Wednesday, got to go in Tuesday afternoon. Really hoping that something will happen between now and then. Don't really want a section, and really really do not want to be in hosiptal and away from the girls for so long. Pretty
about it all really)

Re: Arrggghhh

big hugs to you honey, I know the feeling of not wanting to be away for the time, last time they only kept me in for 2 nights, which was better, and I must admit as it was over the festive period then as well it was really nice to get some peace and quiet with the new fella, as although I missed my bigger men terribly when we did get home, poor little george was sort of stuck in the corner whilst normal family hectic life resumed.
I think it is funny how things change dependant on what number child it is, son 1 got dressed as soon as he was awake, had his every need met as soon as he opened his mouth to cry, sometimes even before. Son 2 got dressed before we left the house and had his every need met as soon as son 1 was sorted, as crying baby was easier than the 2 yr olds temper tantrums, son 3 gets dressed as soon as I've had a chance to get a cup of tea, so normally after the school run is finished (unless he has missed his mouth with his breakfast) and has his needs met as long as they don't co-inside with school run, after school clubs, cooking tea for the ever hungry growing tribe of brothers!!
So although it isn't ideal, if the worse case does happen and you get stuck in hospital, take a deep breath and enjoy those undisturbed cuddles with the new little man, as you'll be in demand as soon as your home and there will be lots of arms wanting to have the most important job I'm sure!

Re: Arrggghhh
Thanks for that Hun.
I know what you mean, I am sure this little man will be doing the school run in his PJ's with a coat on top, and that will be in the afternoon
If you keep going at this rate, your going to be organised for Christmas in no time. Mr SFG called me a sad b****h for packing the christmas cards in my bag. But then its not him who has to organised everything

Re: Arrggghhh
Ok since the last post, been threatened with a court case over contact by the older boys dad, now managed to get it delayed till the start of feb, so lost a week of christmas prep just walking round crying about that, also my orgainised lists got ripped up by george, after someone left them on a low shelf
but lists re done, cards written, nearly got the presents sorted out, only the last two bits to do then the big shop to cover the period from when I go to hospital till Georges 2nd birthday party on new years eve, so thought thats ok can do that this week, but oh no the boys have other ideas, George stinking cold grumpy and clingy (so me covered in baby snot!) Barney ear infection, so I was seen de-icing the car at midnight so that I could go and find pain killers for him, so off school today, Bill unwell, but getting over the worse, everyone is avoiding the words but ticks all the boxes for that little coldy flu type thing with the curly tail, so instead of christmas shopping today I have argued with the fire breathing dragons(sorry dr receptionist), who refused to let me book both kids in as emergencies, but luckily saw a lovely nurse who said that normally she wouldn't treat the ear but as I obviously need the kids all better quickly and given antibiotics in the hopes that they work, rather than having to sit and let it get worse then get it treated.
So tonight I hope to make the decorations for the christmas cake, put the decorations up in the house, poost the cards, really need to start to wrap up some presents, oh and still have to pack a bag as baby is here in 7 days and the nappies are somewhere under the presents. tomorrow I have to be at the hospital for my pre op assessment, and I'm not sure if either of the boys will be back at school!
Can you guess what my answer was when Mrluvpie called to ask if I minded him working overtime this week, bet you can't
Oh well first things first, a nice cup of tea and might even find some truffles in the fridge to have with it, boys are currently in bed, having been sent there so I could have 5 minutes peace for the first time since thursday!

Aww, I really feel for you! I'm only looking after 2 boys part time and I can't imagine how you are coping!

Re: Arrggghhh
Ok so cake is now iced, unfortunately I went all classy, but the stars have gone alittle flacid, never mind I think it adds a quirky twist.
My weekend was going to be spent today and tomorrow running round like a headless chicken, instead this morning was spent snowball fighting, this afternoon I appeared to have brought more than our normal number of boys home so had a house full of kids playing games, so running round tomorrow, to get everything finished off before our mums arrive!
Oh and george managed to upset the cat, whilst wearing just a t-shirt, so that was another trip to the Dr's, very nice Dr who said looking at a little boys willy made a nice change to down kids throats! his ringding is now re-named ouchie, but his antibiotic cream is doing wonders, I'm starting to think what else could happen between now and monday
At least it means I'm starting to look forward to the peace and quiet of the hospital ward on monday morning,

Re: Arrggghhh
Right christmas is on hold now, I've got a horrid feeling that I've got a chest infection and am feeling like pants
but it's ok, my mums turned up a day early, hence mad rushing round to get house tidy this morning, and then being told how unhealthy the truffles were that I was making this evening, when she stopped talking I noticed that she was actually eating the left over condensed milk off a spoon, I obviously pointed out the fact that she is diabetic at this point!
I feel a very long day ahead of me tomorrow.
If we don't get back on here before hand, wishing you all a very happy, healthy and peaceful christmas
