hydro power or not??

The whole reason for the selfsufficientish website was to offer a place where anyone can ask, HOW DO I...? So who knows why it has taken us so long to have a HOW DO I? section, but here it is. So if you want to know how to do anything selfsufficientish then here is the place to ask.

How do I find out more about electricity generaton? we have a spring turning out up to at least 60 litres per min(measured) down to 10 litres (at a guess) with a possible 10 metre drop. But so far it looks if I call the experts they want a year and up to £3000 to tell me if its a goer!!! Any thoughts. Farmer Gra

I attended an excellent talk which gave an overview of renewables and it was run by a really nice guy called Martin. He is admin on an excellent forum which you can find here:

Good luck! And let us know how you get on.
