Festival that aims to tread lightly on our planet

We are a new festival in the heart of mid Wales, Llanfyllin, Powys with an environmental theme. We believe that to have a great time should not "cost the earth" so we are promoting this throughout our event. We have many solar and wind powered venues and aim to be completely self sufficient by 2007. Throughout the festival grounds we have a dedicated recycling team at work 24/7, and a sustainable living area where festival goers can meet yurt and tipi dwellers, talk to them about sustainability and learn some green wood crafts. We also will have a healing area and fabulous childrens entertainment. On top of all this there will be five music stages, a dance tent and great cabaret.
