I was thinking of sometime in May. It sounds like a lunchtime during the week is favourite at the moment. Is that good for everyone?

Hello, Gert and I both have to work I'm afraid so we could only do week-ends. :(

Mr and Mrs Gert, if we found somewhere closer to where you work, could you meet us during your lunch breaks? Just a thought. Otherwise we'll have to bump Andy who can't do weekends.

I'll post a poll when I can work out how to do it. We'll do this democratically.

Only just got on here but lacock would be a nice place to go,

There is a nice pub but as i type i cannot remember the name for the life of me, although my pal reckons it is the Red Lion

Also as an option, even though lacock is lovely indeed there is The Barge at Seend. right next to the canal

Anyway I would be interested to meet some like minded chaps and chapesses.

Argh – what is wrong with this site at the moment? I just typed up a long reply on this and another thread and both have disappeared.

Anyway, what I said was:

I have set up a poll for when we want to meet. These are just random dates from my diary so let me know if none is suitable as there are plenty more dates available.

The Red Lion http://redlionlacock.2day.ws/ has been suggested, as has the Rising Sun http://www.molesbrewery.com/site/?page_id=14which apparently has spectacular views. I’m not sure that either would appreciate us unpacking a picnic in their garden though so let me know whether you would prefer to meet in a field with a potluck picnic (with the pub as backup in case of rain).

I haven't voted 'cos I can do all daytimes (so any of those), can't ride in the evenings, too cold and scary.

Hi
Well at the moment lunchtime on Sunday 16th May is coming out favourite. Is there anyone who'd like to come and can't make that day or shall we book it in our diaries?

Hi All

I really do not think that I can make a Sunday, as its the only day that Hubby has off in the week. Shame but nevermind, maybe I will be able to make it another time.

Nikki, if hubby doesn't want to come along, then vote for the day you'd prefer. There's a few people left to vote yet so we can still chose another day.

Ignore my comment yesterday, I can make it.

Would anyone else be bringing their children?
