The foods that make Billions

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

The foods that make Billions

9 o'clock tonight on BBC2 the story of the bottled water industry.Don't think I can watch it,things seem bad enough as it is,but it could be interesting if you're not of a violent disposition.

I like this version, it will be interesting to see if the one on BBC2 is the same quality.

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

Has the world gone mad :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Bling h2o – $40+ per 750 ml bottle Hollywood writer-producer Kevin G. Boyd tapped into the bottled water market with an image approach. His water, Bling h2o, has been spotted in the hands of numerous celebrities and even at awards ceremonies like the Emmy’s, Grammy’s, and the MTV Video Music Awards. The water is bottled in Dandridge, Tennessee, probably the least notable quality of the most expensive bottled water.

And Nestle now own Buxton Water - I wonder if they've put a charge on the free source in Buxton?

Nestle have owned Buxton Water for quite a while - before that it was Perrier (or are they the same conglomerate?)

Anyway -- the Well in the Crescent is still free -- and there is often a queue of people filling up enough containers to last them all week

Dont know why they bother -- it tastes foul to me

(and its slightly radioactive -- that is what gives it its blue colour when you see in in a large enough pool. Buxton was at one time known as "the town of the blue waters")

I hate the plastic bottles that the evil bottled water industry has spawned.
