Ideas for green whisky and other cocktails?

I need some ideas for drinks and cocktails to serve at my OH's 30th birthday party next weekend.

I don't want to rely on just using food colourings, but the things I'm coming up with at the moment for a geeky party...

So I need some colourful cocktails I can rename on the night. I'm guessing the green whisky will have to be food colouring to become Star Trek's Aldebaran whisky. If anyone can name some cocktails that end up blue, red or green?

Or anything else that could be a geeky gamer/sci-fi drink?

How about a "Kermit" also known as a "Green Monster" - shot of vodka, shot of blue blos, top up with fresh oj, it goes BRIGHT green!

Or a "Red Witch" - shot of vodka, shot of pernod and top up with a nice cider and a shot of blackcurrent cordial. Ends up red and tastes of liquorice.

Blue bols, vodka and lemonade should make a good "Romulan Ale"???

A nice red wine punch in a bowl with glasses to be dipped would make a good Klingon "Blood Winw"

Borg is his surname? That is ACE! Still trying to talk OH out of using Tiberius as a middle name if we have a son (the T in James T Kirk)!

It is ace, and pretty cool he is a geek with it. The future wedding being referred to as my assimilation would have got pretty old a lot quicker than it has otherwise.

We bought the Sci-Fi Baby Names book for naming our son. We ended up leaning more towards the horror names though. The little guy in my pic is Dexter Jason Borg and he was expected to appear at Halloween. Dexter Borg is clearly the coolest name in the world and causes many comments at the cinema and doctor's surgery.

I've made some quick Ribena wine for blood wine tomorrow and got some other folks bringing ingredients for cocktails. Thanks for your help x

Beowulf! That's so amazing Peter briefly considered the possibility of having another child to call it that. I told him no, absolutely not, no more kids... but he's welcome to call our next pet that.



As for the Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster - I might save that page for my birthday bash.
