Carrot
There is a standing joke in our house that my carrots are always tiny. I have now learnt how to grow bigger ones, but my carrot reputation is now a family legend.
So I knitted one!

Re: Carrot
I should probably make one! We pulled a carrot yesterday (he looked HUGE from what we could see), it was really tense and we pulled him out slowly... and then he was about an inch long

That is a fab carrot MW! I just love looking at knitted creations as my skills in that department are sadly lacking.

Re: Carrot
Thanks peeps!
@Keaniebean: Knitting & hand sewing are my only 'crafty' skills. I can't crochet (though Flibsey has promised to teach me just as soon as I can arrange to visit her again). I certainly couldn't make anything half as good as your spectacular quilt and as for my 'cooking' the least said the better. I can render the most innocent of ingredients toxic! (So I grow it & Mr MW cooks it...brilliantly).
It would be a boring ISH if we were all good at everything...who would we show off to?

How very true! Plus there is the fact that I get to shop for handknitted socks on Etsy, with a valid reason!MuddyWitch wrote:
