I am fascinated by the eharmony advert and the slightly mad way they say 'we will match you on INTELLECT and VALUES' with all the consonants really pronounced. However the one where the soppy woman sings about liking Godfather 3* makes me cringe and whimper although it may be an amazing site, I do not know.

I met my partner on some chat site (flirtomatic i think it was?) I wasn't out looking for love. My job at the time was an office junior where I was the only person based in the office full-time, didn't have a lot of work to do and was there for 8 and a half hours a day to "cover the phones" so I had a lot of free time to mess about on the internet
I met up with him coz I was going to Manchester for the weekend to see a friend at uni and thought it would be a laugh. 4 years later we're still going stong

In all seriousness though, I tried dating before I was married using the more traditional method of getting rat ar$£d in a pub and then pinching bums to see who would respond in an obligatory fashion, funnily enough it never worked until I declared I was off men, and then lo and behold husband appeared one night at a works crimbo 'do'. 15 pints of stella and he was all mine ( albeit a mess on the floor)...those were the days
