waark.com, green living and self sufficientish blog

Post: # 242036Post tim_n »

Hi

Thought I'd post a link to my blog http://www.waark.com, in it I've recently been covering the production of a wood fired clay/adobe oven, rainwater conservation (3,000ltrs worth of storage made from IBCs from eBay), rescue pets, home brew (including a real ginger beer plant) planting a fruit orchard and backyard grow your own veg.

I used to own an allotment and if you look through the archives you'll see a lot about allotment life, however since we got a new house, we've got a similar sized plot to develop, but with a different direction now we've got our fingers dirty and know how much hard work goes into an allotment.

Hope you enjoy reading it and let me know what you think!

Thanks Maggie - I didn't actually read your post before I'd done it - I belong to several forums and it's part of my sig on many of them, but believe it or not I'd never bothered to do it here. Sorted now though!

Did you check out the site?

Does this mean it would be ok to post a link to my forum too, or would that be a step too far?

Just had another look - especially your earth oven project. We are in the process of building one ourselves.
