One gallon of fruit teabag, but this time with a litre of supermarket grape juice thrown in as well, which may or may not turn it into something a little better.
One gallon of supermarket apple juice wine (not merely supermarket, but past-its-sell-by-date apple juice at a pound for 5 litres). We'll see.
One high-content peach and grape with an overload of sugar in an attempt to approach a strong, sweet wine.

Oh, and all with the Vit. B1 overdose.

Not at all. Drinking a gallon a week is what does the damage

Mike

EDIT: But seriously, I don't think (along with the entire French nation) that a bottle a day is excessive. Some people, though, would be scandalised.

Mike, I'm certainly not scandalised, but I do share the bottle with my daughter! pbf.

I assumed that, pbf. And I share my bottle with any wine drinker who happens to be around when I open it.

We get very few visitors these days. Shame. :drunken:

Mike,
I've a batch of Cranberry & Raspberry juice wine on the go. Got 4 litres from the daughter-in-law. It's dated BBE May 08
I'm trying it using a no sugar recipe, starting off with 2 litres and yeast, then, when bubbling slows, add another litre then same again.
It's now had the last litre added and is still going like wildfire
Quite what it'll turn out like, who knows

Barry.

Gosh, that reminds me....MANY, MANY years ago I did a wine using parsnips and (orange)??? It's name was Westcott Schnapps I think. It had a HELLUVA punch.
Anyone got any recollections or ideas as to a recipe??
I've a load of softening parsnips just crying out to be used!!
